In God We Trust

In God We Trust (PDF File)

In God We Trust

In America, the phrase In God We Trust is printed on most of our money. Yet, people rarely do live up to the standard that this phrase requires. For many people, money is their God. It is an idol that has replaced the true God. This writing is a wake up call to encourage people to examine themselves, and repent of their sins! Financial crisis is on the horizon, as well as many other judgments that result from people denying God.

We claim to Trust God, yet we choose to:

Allow the murder of innocent life in the womb. We treat life as having so little value.

Ignore and Insult God’s Definition Of Marriage by redefining what holy matrimony is.

Live apart from God, in a selfish, prideful life, always trying to satisfy our own desires.

Reward sin by supporting and promoting those people who mock and disregard God.

Refuse to train up our children to honor God, and to respect themselves and others.

Lie, cheat, and steal, ignoring God’s Consequences, and His Commands in His Word.

Continually deny God by our words and actions, showing that we do not believe Him.

Fail to reverence and respect God daily. We ignore God, and do not pray for His Will.

Not pray or read God’s Word. We fail to maintain a continual relationship with God.

Not stand up for Christians who are persecuted, nor pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Stop attending church service. Instead we shop, or watch sports, movies or television.

Ignore the Command to love God with all our heart, and love our neighbor as ourself.

God is calling you back to Him. He wants you to repent, and to turn from your sins, and pray, and ask Jesus Christ to save you, from all your sins. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36.

Father God, In The Name Of Jesus, please restore me back to the way you designed me to be. Restore my mind, will, emotions, attitudes, and my physical body to your original design for me. Reverse all damage caused to me by the evil one, and put me back to optimal, godly operation, which glorifies you. Remove from me all addictions, fears, ungodly beliefs, and destructive behaviors. Thank you for healing and restoring. I trust you and believe you, and I desire to go deeper in my relationship with you through Jesus Christ. Please increase my faith. Remove all fear, doubts, unbelief, and also all unforgiveness that I may have toward anyone. In Romans 14:23, Your Holy Word says that “…whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” I desire to always walk by faith. “(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” 2 Corinthians 5:7. Help me to trust you in all things, and not rely on what I see, hear, or feel, or on my circumstances or wisdom. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.” Proverbs 3:5-7. Trust in God!

Separation From God

Separation From God (PDF File)  —  Previous Chapter

You have a loving God and Creator, who designed you for His Purpose and Pleasure. There is a void, or hole, inside you, that only a relationship with God can satisfy.  People go around trying to fill that empty space with addictions, entertainment, drugs, pursuits, activities and many other things to substitute for a real relationship with God. So many years of a person’s life are often wasted with trivial pursuits, instead of being filled with satisfaction and contentment, by knowing that they are secure in God’s Will.

Most of the problems we face in life are a result of disobedience to God’s Instructions. When you do things “your own way,” you reject seeking or obeying God’s Instructions, and proclaim that you know better than God how to manage your life. Separation from God comes as a result of disobedience and sin. Jesus Christ came, bled, and died on a cross, so that you may be reconciled back to God, by having your sins forgiven. Do not take what Christ did lightly! Appreciate and reverence God’s Redemptive Plan.

Anyone who rejects God’s Authority, or His Commands, will suffer eternal separation from God. Imagine the torment of never being able to communicate with God. Now you have the chance to establish a relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ! Do it now, before you die, and then it is too late! Get rid of all pride, selfishness, lusts, and sinful desires. Instead, continually abide in God’s Acceptance, Love, and Joy.

Will you accept or reject God? “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28. Jesus offers you abundant life. “…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23. Sin earns you eternal separation from God. Grace offers life.

Stop hurting yourself, and other people around you! Repent of your sins, and turn to God through faith in Jesus Christ! Live the abundant life, that God has purposed for you to live. Never take God, or Salvation, for granted! Appreciate each moment of life.

Strive to know God more every day. Delight yourself in Him, and in His Word, growing in your relationship and love for Him. Walk by faith, and not by what you see. Faith is about believing what God Said, and not trusting in yourself or your reasoning abilities.

Communicate with God through prayer. Daily renew your mind with God’s Word. You will either waste your time on worldly pursuits, and on sin, or you will invest your time seeking to know more of God. Ask God to help you and teach you by The Holy Spirit. Fellowship with other Christian Believers. Worship and adore God, giving Him all honor, praise, and reverence! Study to show yourself approved. Read God’s Word.

You Saw War Room, Now What?

You Saw War Room, Now What? (PDF File)

The Christian movie “War Room” is a powerful call to a deeper relationship with God, through prayer and Bible Study. I highly recommend that every person see this movie. Whether you are an unbeliever in Jesus, a new believer, or have been a Christian for many years, the War Room movie will help you to better understand more about God.

1. God responds to, and is pleased by, faith. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6. You do not get to make up your own rules. God’s Word is clear what He expects of every follower of Christ.

2. God wants you to seek Him, hungering and thirsting after His Word, with prayer. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13. “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” James 4:8.

3. Daily, continually repent of your sins, freeing yourself from condemnation, renewing your mind, by washing it with God’s Word. Guard your heart and mind from everything unpleasing to Jesus. Strive with His Help to live a life that glorifies and pleases God. Stop trying to gain man’s acceptance, and know that you are accepted in the beloved.

4. Pray for your city, county, state, nation, other countries, and for the whole world. Intercede through prayer for salvation of those who have not yet believed upon Jesus. Pray for protection and wisdom for your church, parents, family members, and friends.

5. Reverence and acknowledge God as your Father. Ask for God’s Will to be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Ask for your daily provision to accomplish His Plan through your life. Ask God to forgive you your sins, as you forgive others. “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” Matthew 6:13. Add specific prayers as you are lead.

6. Remove all distractions, and go into your secret, private place to pray where God will hear you. Prayer Changes Things! Your War Room is your special place to pray. “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.” Matthew 6:6. Make prayer a continual part of your daily life. Wait for God to respond. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14.
